Zumo XT2 - Software v 6.60

I'm putting this topic here to make it easier to find for later subsequent searches.

I spotted a query about custom POI display. V6.60

Very quick test of my own POIs. They show up on the map when you break the perimeter - at the same time that the sound is played and the picture is displayed. They ...

Re: Version 6.60 fixes RUT?

V6.60 for XT2 ?

We shall see what that holds in store as regards RUT behaviour.

I think that they had a go at it a while back - certainly behaviour changed in that when navigating, if a route demanded a U turn more than twice in succession, it stopped asking for them, but continued to try to turn ...

Re: Hi from the UK

Spent some time today with Trip Manager and using FrankB's method 5 I successfully loaded all my MRA routes to the XT2. Once you get the hang of it, it so quick and every route worked perfectly on the desktop.

Re: Fun with shaping a route on the XT

The 'shape route' button adds shaping points and it makes 'intelligent' guesses as to where the shaping point should be placed relative to the Via Point.

Re: Hi from the UK

Glad you are feeling more confident with it.

Some quick things to help make the holiday trouble free:

1. When navigating a route, avoid using the Skip Button if at all possible - unless you need to or you loaded the route using Trip Manager.
2. If you do have to 'skip' a route point, then as soon ...

Re: Hi from the UK

Quick update,

Firstly, thank you guys for all your help with this, much appreciated.

I've had a play with TripManager and with my little tech experience, I'm going to have to sit down and have a good read of the instructions. It's very comprehensive so need to get a good understanding of it ...

Re: Importing .gpx files into Zumo XT3

Some info about collections that you might have missed:

https://zumouserforums.co.uk/XT2-P330

Note that some of the Zumo screens will scroll so that you can see all of the options available.

Routes, tracks, waypoints - the same items can be added to more than one collection if you wish. They do ...

I've been seeing that today a lot. If I wait a few seconds, the page refreshes itself and loads OK
