Delete an icon

I started loading music but the device didn't start copying. I think the mistake was the length of the headline. The short title was loaded. But now there are icons I can't delete.

Things to try

Restart the computer and reconnect the Zumo via USB. Try again.
Rename the MP3 folder and create a new one Then try deleting the renamed MP3 folder.

You may need to switch out of MTP mode. Ive never tried this on the XT though.

Today, I discovered something really important. I found another way that doesn't work.

Don't believe the mass storage mode exists in the XT from what others have posted, so not possible to switch from mtp mode.

That's correct, but there is a USB Ethernet mode which (if you have a USB to ethernet adaptor) will allow you access to the XT via an ethernet cable.
(I have never tried it though).

The setting is in the Hidden Diagnostic Page (Long press the circular speedo from the maps speed indication button)
