What 3 Words
Not sure if you guys are familiar with this:
I have just been playing with what 3 words. If you look up a location on your smart phone and click on 'Navigate', you get the option to send the data to Garmin drive. With the XT switched on with a signal, the unit then starts to navigate to the location. I thought it was not working whilst indoors - I went outside & got a gps signal & the XT started navigating to the location & stored the coordinates in history.

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
Links: Zumo 590s . Zumo XT & BC . Zumo Navigation Booklet . Zumo XT2

Re: What 3 Words
It's great to hear that What3Words integrates so smoothly with the Garmin Drive app! The seamless transfer of location data to the Garmin XT is impressive, especially how it stores coordinates in history. This functionality can be a real game-changer for precise navigation, even in challenging environments.simoncrewe wrote: Thu May 27, 2021 3:40 pm Not sure if you guys are familiar with this:

Re: What 3 Words
Sadly, this feature no longer works. I think Garmin removed the feature some months ago when they updated the Drive app - a real shame.
