In Basecamp: Maps / Manage Map Products

This dialog box tells you exactly where each map is stored.

When the Zumo is connected, the library pane on the left shows which maps are installed on the Zumo. Click on any map, and the bottom pane will reveal the name of the img file for the selected map. These files may be in .system/Map.

Additional files that are associated with the .img file have the same name but different extensions.
eg D6159300A.img, D6159300A.gma, D6159300A.unl
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

On my PC I remove old maps using the Windows Uninstall feature. Saves messing about with folders.

Unfortunately that doesn't delete the install files that Express leaves behind.

Ah! They're hidden away in the RMU folder. Thanks for that.
