I connected a DIN/Powerlet plug to the ends of the Garmin 590 wiring harness. The 590 is now connected to the accessory outlet and can be removed from my bike in a few seconds. OK, never mind. I did it through the Control Panel. And then went through the installation process....twice because it failed the first time. It's all unlocked now.

Me too. I just updated and although they're unlocked on my 595 they're locked on my laptop.

All depends on your broadband speed. Before going fibre I used to have to leave it going overnight but now it takes about 30 minutes.
