Re: Introducing TripManager
I had a look at the site. Looks 'Scandinavian oriented' to me. Can you use it practically when you're not a 'pro user'? (We from Holland dont like to pay!)
The export is first available as a 'pro user', so I just signed up as export is essential to me, so I am not sure how useful it is without ...

Re: Introducing TripManager
Hi Frank
@HarryMJ
Now, what's next?
- You say a bug in TourStart. I'm not sure. Even more unsure if they will fix it.
- I did some debugging and I'm quite sure I can fix it in TripManager. That will likely be the fastest. Agree?
Frank
Thank you for the explanation... I think you are right ...

Re: Introducing TripManager
Thank you for that... so TripManager do not like the Danish characters  .
I will make TripManager love Danish characters!
Ha-ha, thank you :-)
I changed the Danish character in TourStart, exported from TourStart, but did still not work, but then removed following <![CDATA[ ]]> from ...

Re: Introducing TripManager
Hi Frank,
I just realized that the issue is with TourStart.... no matter what I do, regarding standard characters (no Danish characters), TourStart will export the file with these CDATE lines.

Re: Introducing TripManager
Hi,
Thank you for that... so TripManager do not like the Danish characters  .
I will just use the standard characters in my route planning, do not make to much effort into accepting these, I can easily leave such characters out.
TripManager is amazing, just found that I can group my trips ...

Re: Introducing TripManager
Hello Frank,
Seems like only GPX files exported from BC will work correctly, is that a correct assumption?
I have a planning tool (TourStart), and when I export a route to GPX, then send it to the XT with TripManager will all look correct with the .trip file, but does not show in the Trip Planner ...

Re: Adventurous Routing and recalculation
For my driving check of the route is my conclusion to the initial question "will the Zumo XT use the Adventurous for re-calculation", seems like it will, but I am not absolutely sure

Re: Adventurous Routing and recalculation
The route from QMapShack transferred to the SD card, and then imported Test_rte_240703M1 to Trip Planner.
In Trip Planner:
All "via point" changed to "shaping points", except wp4_12km.
Route Preference changed Adventurous Routing, level 1.
Selected go and start.
Back to home screen, then ...

Re: Adventurous Routing and recalculation
With reference to my first post:
An extract of the file imported into the SD card is attached, and also an extract of the Current.gpx after all my modifications attached.
