Re: Weird navigation lately
Yeah, I wonder if the blue dot was placed accidentally in the wrong lane. Maybe zoom in further on BaseCamp and see if it’s in the correct lane.

Re: Zumo XT Green Dots Waypoints Everywhere??
Is there a setting that you can turn off the icons for certain things? For example, I recall having to turn off all the airport symbols bc they peppered the map with them.
In BaseCamp, these things can be turned off. Not sure how it works in the unit itself.

Re: Route line conceals street names/hwy numbers
It’s been doing this for years. It’s sooooooo stupid.
I complained to them (Garmin) a VERY long time ago, about this.
I sometimes delete the route momentarily, look at the road name or number and hit undo to get my route back.

Re: A long, single, multi-day route.
On BaseCamp I do one long trip, but then I create segments from it for my daily trips. On the gps, I use the daily trip for the reasons others have mentioned.

I guess “Life Time” maps doesn’t mean YOUR life time (the customer), it means the life time of the maps.

Re: Creating A Track Or Route For The Paul Bunyan State Trail
A track is better only because it doesn’t recalculate, so it won’t accidentally shift you around. It’s also able to take you through water crossings and areas that a route will not take you.
The track will not announce any directions. It simply lays still on the map.

Re: Export route to a table format
We have a 28 day trip planned in Europe. Some of my days have up to 9 Waypoints. There was no way for me to remember all these days and all the various waypoints for each of the days. So, what I did was print an 8 1/2 x 11 for each day and list the waypoints in a numerical list and then place a ...
