I can sorta help you - I've done it, but not recently so not exactly sure on the steps.

Before you start riding your route, start tracking; @ main screen, track [start]
At the end of your route, Stop tracking, save the track (w/ a name).

To ride it reversed; Apps Tracks {track name} [go] [ finish ...

I kinda hate base camp. It just doesn't work the way I do...
