Reverse a routes- ZUMO XT

Sadly this is not possible on the Zumo XT...

It is possible, but not as easy as past models...

If you export a gpx file of a track to Explore, you can open the track using the Explore icon on the Zumo and then convert the track to a trip. When choosing to convert a track to a trip, the XT will ask you if you want it start to finish, or finish to start. You will end up with two saved trips if you convert to track to a trip in both directions. you will then use the Trip Planner to access it under saved trips...

Ok - what i mean was not on the Zumo XT directly! And - 'Garmin Explore', so i'm out here - it's a no-go for me...

I can sorta help you - I've done it, but not recently so not exactly sure on the steps.

Before you start riding your route, start tracking; @ main screen, track [start]
At the end of your route, Stop tracking, save the track (w/ a name).

To ride it reversed; Apps Tracks {track name} [go] [ finish to start ]

There are several ways to ride the route backwards after riding it. The ultimate question is if you can reverse a route in the XT just by reversing directions as you'd do in BaseCamp. The short answer is - no. Though possible in others older units.

Even that can cause issues when you hit divided roads, one way streets etc

My thought exactly. I think I'm always better off creating a separate route to ride in each direction. Divided highways especially will create all sorts of u-turns and confusing loops. Sure, I suppose I could just "ride through them" but why deal with the aggravation?

For the times I do want a reversed route, I pre-plan with Base Camp by right click, duplicating, renaming, then modifying to put all the points where they should be. I refuse to use Explore as well.
