Among other less important things:

I understand the frustration of people who live their lives primarily online - when planning on the web and then transferring the data to the XT-XT3, you run into problems.
I’m old-school, I bring my laptop on long trips and use BaseCamp on it, so I have no trouble planning routes.

1) The CarPlay/Android Auto mirroring system drains the phone's battery and won't last a full day of driving.
2) A tablet with a full-featured Android OS and navigation installed in this tablet cannot display incoming messages or show incoming calls.

The only exception is DMD — a partial exception ...

I replied to a discussion on Facebook this morning; it works exactly the same way with the XT3 as it does with the XT2 or XT.

I can confirm that the XT3 behaves like the XT2. I've tested it myself.

Although my R1200 ST has a chassis Öhlins TTX EC for GS, front frame and other parts from the GS, I’m backward of mud and only ride on asphalt or flat, compacted gravel.

@proofresistant Have you settings.db file from XT2 or Tread 2, please?
(I sold the XT2 and returned the Tread 2 during the trial period.)

Clarification: The profile was inherited from Explore app/web, no from Tread, and it is a heritage from XT2.

After resetting only the Tread app and the XT3, the "zümo Motorcycle" profile returned. On my second attempt, I reset the Tread app without enabling synchronization, reset the XT3 without ...

Problem solved. The profile was inherited from XT2 in Tread app in my phone.

The thought processes of Garmin's developers are sometimes a mystery to me...
The pre-set "zumo Motorcycle" profile can't be deleted, can't be renamed, and is missing some options
