BaseCamp Mac 4.8.6 released

Post by H2R »

https://www8.garmin.com/support/downloa ... sp?id=4449

Changes made from version 4.8.4 to 4.8.6:
Fixed label rendering with some Unicode maps
Fixed issue where certain European Birdseye downloads would fail
Fixed Garmin Support weblinks
Fixed various crashes and bugs when plugging in certain Garmin devices

Has anyone had an opportunity to give 4.8.6 a try?

Jon, I believe 4.8.3 and later are 64-bit although I’m not on Catalina yet.

Following a basecamp update some time ago this feature was removed so now you have to export the route from basecamp and then import the route in to Google Earth, then you can view (or fly over) the route.
It isn't as convenient a process, however at least it is still workable.
Hope that helps.. Tony

Thanks for the info. I think I’ll just stick with the 4.6.2.
I love the google earth tool.
