For anyone confused the NTU version of CN EU 2020.10 was released a while back. This is the NT version used on older devices.

Thanks, I'll dig out my old Nuvi 360 and Zumo 220 and update them.

Anybody successfully managed to install this update to BOTH sat nav AND pc?

I have a Zumo 660, and two windows pcs, one running Win7, the other Win10.
After a couple of hiccups I managed to update the 660 to Europe NT 2020.1, and, having selected "install to device and computer", I was surprised to find no updated map in Basecamp. This was the same for both Win7 and Win10.
I have tried reinstalling the maps, but don't get an option to install to computer with that one, so needless to say
I'm still on 2019.2 .
If I try to 'install to computer', the install progress bar gets to 14 or 15% each time, before giving "an error occurred with this update" message, and throwing me back to the 'you are up to date' screen
The 660 seems to be updated correctly, and, if I connect to either pc, basecamp will use the 2020.1 maps on that, to plot routes, but as soon as I disconnet the 660, I'm back to 2019.2 maps only.

Basecamp version is 4.7.0, and reinstalling it, makes no difference.
So I currently have a different map on my pcs, to the one on the 660, not ideal as we know when it comes to routing !!

For what it's worth I've been updating Garmin sat navs for the past 12 or so years, not without the odd hiccup, but this is the first time I've been unable to get Express to sync maps on my unit, and pcs.
I've rebooted the pc numerous times, and confirmed the location for the map on the pc is the same folder as already exists (different map file name), but no matter what I try, I get 2020.1 on the 660, and 2019.2 on the pc, UNLESS I have the two connected.

Any (sensible) suggestions welcome. Thanks

That actually makes me feel better. :-)

Maybe I'll leave it for a few days then, it's worked in the past with updating issues on first release.
If I NEED a route, it should work with the 660 plugged in, but it's not ideal.

Thanks

I think there's a bug in Garmin Express. Have you tried going back a few versions?

The only old version I have is 6.3.0.0 - I may try that later.
