I always use Mapsource to get routes on. But your way should work too.

The "Doubling" normally happens if you want to get a route over there and there is already one called "Monday" (for example). So, delete the old one before you move one named the same. It will NOT overwrite it.

Try deleting the routes and then use mapsource to get them over

BaseCamp had a nasty habit of appending to Temp.gpx on your Zumo. Use File Explorer to delete Zumo:gpx/Temp.gpx before dropping routes in there.
