Restart of route using CEP causes data display issue

Post by Peobody »

I am 4 days into my current trip, one route per day. At least once a day I have missed a via point so have restarted the route using CEP rather than skipping the point. This seems to affect the ability of the XT to generate information about the remainder of the route. Normally. when I drive through a via point positioned on the road, a panel will open screen right that show details of the remainder of the route (time remaining, number of points remaining, other data that I don't recall). After the restarts, this panel opens as expected but is empty except for the spinning blue circle. I never populates with data. The longest I have left it open and spinning has been around two minutes. The display of this pane is annoying, even when it works, so I don't care about fixing it, I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue or knows what causes it.

Yes, I remember seeing it once or twice on my last trip to Luxemburg.
Like you I dismiss the screen and am not bothered.
In Settings, Driver Assistance there is a checkbox Route Preview. Maybe it helps if you untick it.

Mine does this as well. Never noticed that it down to starting it via cep.
I just close it and ignore it although it’s another flaw in the XT!
