CN EU 2023.2 NTU is available

Co-incidentally when upgrading my 590 to a 595 I see that CN EU 2023.2 is available, it wasn't yesterday.

File size is 9.29 GB.

I have just updated my Zumo to City Navigator Europe NTU 2023.2 and run into a problem.
It looks like the map for the UK is the base map only while the European segments are the full maps.
I have tried reinstalling but it is always the same.
Anybody else had this issue?

No, Works perfect for me. (Zumo XT)

In Garmin Express there's a button 'Manage Maps', There you can select a region. Please check that. Maybe that's the problem.

Hmm... Does this control the regions of the map that get transferred to the PC?

No, if you install map to PC you get the full map.

After a few miles of use, the speed limits it thinks are applicable seem to have become less reliable

Thanks for the comments so far.
I have done a bit more digging and found that it is only the UK that is just the base map. If I look at France, Spain etc. the full details are present. So for some reason just the UK is the problem.
I am using a Zumo 390LM which I have had for a long time.
I have tried looking at the manage maps option in Garmin express, but despite using the lastest version of Express the option is not visible.

Still digging so any new ideas would be welcome.

Verify that you have the CN UK map turned on, as I think the EU map is split into sections to keep each portion under the 4Gb FAT32 file size limit.
See Settings>Map & Vehicle>myMaps to be sure the appropriate maps are checked.

If that is OK, in Express, you might try Map Details>Map Options>Reinstall Map. (oops, you already did that)

A more drastic option would be to delete everything in the hidden folder .System/Map and then run Express.

If you think the 390 is running short on internal storage, I've found that on my 590 the contents of .System/SID can also be safely deleted. These are installation files that Express will re-create as needed. Express does not always delete the old files during an update.

Please verify what you see in Settings, Map&Vehicles, myMaps? Without knowing what is actually installed we're shooting in the dark
