XT Mount

Having Garmin zumo XT problems? there is loads of help and advice in this forum

Does anyone know if Garmin has improved the mount or cable for the XT. I know they did shortly after the launch, but have they improved them since.
I keep getting days when I have to keep re-mounting the unit.

have a look in this post from me, there are pictures of the new cable and the new mount - no further improvement since them! viewtopic.php?p=11684#p11684

Some other users in the german Naviboard forum also have issues with the new cable. They have success in fitting a small piece of foam tape on the back side of the connectors - the contacts will have more pressure to the Zumo XT when screwed into the cradle...

Thanks. Problem was covered in the post you linked to. Going to try a new type cable.
