Does anybody know what the capacity of the internal battery is?
My XT battery seems to go flat after about 3-4 weeks of not being used with the GPS turned off which makes me think that the GPS probably does not actually turn off but rather goes into some sort of sleep mode.
My old TomTom 400 battery would last for months when turned off.

Are you sure you're turning it off? On earlier models a short press = sleep, long press = off. I usually get at least 2 months of good battery with off on my 595.
