Map updates on PC vs Zumo XT
I downloaded maps via Garmin Express to my PC so I don't need to have the unit connected always when working a long route. Was wondering if the maps on the PC will be updated when the maps on my Garmin Zumo XT are updated?

I haven't tried the new Express 7.9.0.0 to install maps, but it normally gives you an Options menu where you can specify to install them on the computer, the Zumo or both.
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

It is important to know that the map update on the PC will not happen automatically. You must intentionally tell GE to do it. Like jrheath, I haven't done a map update with the latest version of GE but have checked to verify that the option to install a map to a PC is there so if you aren't offered the option to install to the device and a PC you should be able to install it to the PC as a separate action.
