Problem Transfer Basecamp to ZumoXT

Hello,

maybe someone can tell me, what is wrong...

I make a route in Basecamp -e.g. this one -

- and if I then transfer my routes to my Zumo XT, it shows, quite often, a straight line for the first part of the route-

- instead of the planed route...??

Are you using the same map in BaseCamp and on your Zumo? Just that they look different, this will cause problems. If they are the same is the map the only one selected on your Zumo?

If so change the routing settings from Fastest to Shortest which will force your zumo to recalculate the route, once it's done so change it back to Fastest again. Did that resolve it?

What @sussamb said will fix it.

Two things that will cause it - there are probably more, but these two come to mind.

i) Not using the Motorcycle or Car profile for your route in Basecamp.
ii) Having more than one routable map ticked in Settings -> Map & Vehicle -> myMaps (eg Garmin maps and OSM maps)
(This will only happen if you have installed additional maps to those provided by Garmin).
