Route optimisation not working on Mac with BC 4.8.11

Route optimisation works on my PC using BC version 4.7.4 but not on my Mac with BC version 4.8.11

Is this a common experience?

Not going to update the PC.
Owner of a, greatly treasured, Zumo 550 and, deeply loathed, Zumo 595.
