Re: Garmin Express 7.5
Still doesn't have the capability of installing map to computer for XT. Worked with 595 though.

Re: Garmin Express 7.5
Along with 7.5 version of Express, A new release of the maps was available for Europe. v2021.30
However, it appears in my Express only for the 590/595. Not for the XT.
Which might suggest that they have recognised the map issue for installation via Express on the PC, and not made it available at all. I guess that they are getting lots of calls about it.
If you run a 590/595 and an XT like me - well, lets say I won't be updating Basecamp to use the 2021.30 maps. If I did then when I use Basecamp for my XT, the maps on BC won't match the maps on the XT and it will take ages to calculate each route each time. And since transfer of routes is no longer cumulative for the XT (ie new transfers over-write old transfers so you have to transfer all of the routes that you want to be on the XT each time**), that will take forever.
** Unless you transfer to SD card.
Reading another post, it appears that some XT units may have been shipped containing no maps at all !!

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

Re: Garmin Express 7.5
A new Garmin Express alone isn't enough - it needs also a new firmware on the Zumo XT as the firmware 'triggers' the new map administration in GE! This is the reason, why users with the 'old' firmware (2.90) could install the maps on PC and all users, which have done the update (to 5.90 or 6.10) can't...
City Navigator Europe 2021.30 NTU was released approximately 10 days ago - also for the Zumo XT. I have installed it on the Zumo XT and, thanks to my 'Dummy-Zumo 2.90' also to PC...
It could be, that Garmin stopped the release now completely, as for the problems with the Zumo XT, but it was already released...

Re: Garmin Express 7.5
Yes, I have updated my XT to 2021.30 and via a still registered 590 have been able to update Basecamp on the PC.
