XT off-route recalculation preferences

Post by Wingstyle »

I found in the XT manual that you can set the off-route recalculation preference "Off-Route Recalculation: Sets recalculation preferences when navigating away from an active route.", but I can't find what the preference choices are. On my 660 the choices are 'Auto', 'Off', and 'Prompted'. I use prompted, so if I go off route my unit prompts me with something like 'off-route, recalculate?' and has a pop up where I can pick yes or no. What are the XT choices? Does it have a 'prompted' choice?

Thanks TripleThreat719. I don't have an XT. Doing some research first.

No Problem... I have a 660 also. This is my upgrade. I've been holding off because my only real complaint with the 660 was the shitty screen and it's a tad slow to respond when panning across the screen. I've had it for years... Got it right after they came out. Never upgraded to the 595 because I thought the screen was lacking still. Almost went with a 276CX, but saw all the complaints about the slow processor, so I held off a while longer.

Finally pulled the trigger on the XT and I am glad I did. It does everything I need and the screen is beautiful. Even in direct sunlight.

Glad I pulled the trigger and upgraded.
