Can not control rotation of attached jpg image

I just experienced the 90 degree clockwise rotation of an attached .jpg picture when viewed in Preview. I could not figure out a way to prevent the rotation. I finally opened the image in MS Photos, took a screen snip of it, and attached that from the clipboard. Is there a way to prevent the auto-rotate that I didn't find?

Unfortunately not! It's a software issue that's known and never been fixed by the developers! Sounds like its made by garmin :lol:
