Thanks. If it dies the job, (guides me with sound & plays music) there should not be a problem.

The problem with the 396 was the sound cut out a number of times, for no apparent reason. After a while, which could be a day later, the sound was restored.

Software: Basecamp (4.7.4) & Mapsource (6.16.3)
