Re: Missing turn info when creating a trip from a track

Sorry if I "kick in an open door..."

When converting a track(spoor) to a trip(route) on the XT2, and you subsequently press GO (GA), it will still let you use the track(spoor), without directions.
If you want to use the trip(route), you first have to select the saved trip from the place (collection ...

Re: Routes Change from Tread App to XT2

If you import/copy a GPX file on your XT-2, it will most propably will leave a Route AND a Track on the XT-2.
The route is shown in the "items to import".
But if you look in the "Unasigned items" (or something similar) in the Explorer menu, you will also find a Track.
Use that Track, convert it to a ...

Re: XT2 and MyRouteApp - Shaping & Via Points

Okay...experimented a bit more myself.

Conclusion is that 1.2 exported via connector (cable) in MRA works like it should.
- Either a correct Route, with VIA points and correct estimates, and
- The correct Track, which I could convert in a correct Route, but I won't have the VIA points.

All the ...

Re: XT2 and MyRouteApp - Shaping & Via Points

...just export as GPX 1.1 in instead of 1.2. That seems to work perfectly, even though a little more testing is needed on my end.

But then you take for granted that you won't have the VIA points in your route TOGETHER with their respective time/distance predictions and call-outs....
Am I ...

Re: XT2 and MyRouteApp - Shaping & Via Points

That could be correct, and even if not, an impressive piece of text :D

My guess is that transfering the GPX file by cable AND using the MRA export function (connector), will leave the GPX file in a useable state.
That is:
- A correct Track in your XT-2.
- A correct Route in your XT-2, including ...

Re: XT2 and MyRouteApp - Shaping & Via Points

Export in MRA as GPX 1.2 with the "connector". Thus, also with a cable connected to you XT-2 .
(Don't use the Tread app)

That will give you a Route AND a Track on the XT-2, Route will be inclusive of your Via points.
Use the Route to navigate , and the Via points wil be included together with ...

Re: How can I supress Tripadvisor data being shown at destination arrival - it's a dangerous feature

Thanks Jfheath... :D

That could work indeed, however also not tested, and wondering what more would be missed by de-selecting "Other".
Anyway, I trust one of these solutions will help.

Great forum, and I will share your solution here in The Netherlands as well

Re: How can I supress Tripadvisor data being shown at destination arrival - it's a dangerous feature

From another (Dutch) Forum and user (RonaldR):

After I saw Trip-Advisor pop-up, I stopped and looked at the pop-up.
Somewhere, via selections in the pop-up, there was an option to set filters.
There were 3 of 11 filter options selected, exactly the ones I get after a trip.
I de-selected the 3 ...
