Thank you. Got it. For me, it wasn't th down arrow. It was the "download raw file" icon that I completely missed.smfollen wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 10:32 pm @gwilki After clicking on the zip file, click the small down arrow toward the upper right to download.

Re: Improved Track <-> Route Conversion and Enhanced, Stable, Sharable Routes
Clearly, I am doing something wrong. When I get to the github site and click on the .zip file to download, nothing happens.
Help, please.

Re: Zumo XT2 and Cardo Spirit - bad combination
Do you mean that you called Garmin Support ? Or Cardo Support ? Those three settings are listed in the Cardo manual.
Sorry. Mixed again. I called Cardo support. Nice guy, but of no help since his information was outdated. So, between us, we could not do much. The manual is wrong in other areas ...

Tks much for this. I'll try to reply to each point

Re: Zumo XT2 and Cardo Spirit - bad combination
This is interesting. My Cardo Packtalk is listed in the XT under Bluetooth as a headset which I think should be handled the same as earbuds in regards to volume control/hearing protection. Apparently not. @gwilki, is the Cardo Spirit also listed as a headset? What is the relevance of "Cardo ...

Re: Zumo XT2 and Cardo Spirit - bad combination
I wanted to add to this old thread, as I found a weird aspect of the Zumo that others may benefit from.
Shortly after you guys helped me to control the volume coming from Cardo speakers, for no reason that I could think of, I could not get the Zumo's turn by turn directions loud enough. I had ...

Re: Closest entry point - again
Were you on a divided highway? GPS is impressively accurate but not perfect. It can get your position wrong by several meters, especially if you are stationary. This is even more true when the GPS receiver first starts up. It can get a "fix" with 3 satellites I believe but becomes more accurate as ...

Re: Closest entry point - again
So, I guess a better question is, if you were sitting at shaping point 10989 and wanted to head toward shaping point 956, what would you tell Zumo, keeping in mind that the only starting point options I was given were two that were very close to the starting point and CEP?
This is a problem ...

Re: Closest entry point - again
Thanks to you all. I've learned quite a bit.
I am still left, though, with why the Zumo would not follow the route. I was on the magenta line when I selected closed entry point. I understand that it did not know what direction I was heading in. So, it seems that it selected a point that was behind ...

Re: Closest entry point - again
Thank you very much. I've read abouit via vs shaping points here. My confusion is that all of my points are shown as via points. If I right click on any of them, one of the options is to "edit via point".
So, if they are shaping points, how do I convert them to via points? I thought that they were ...
