Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

Oop NJ: Having the track visible has saved my bacon numerous times. The exception is a route that crosses itself and with no direction arrows that can confuse everyone (me and the zumo). Hope is important in these circumstances. ;-)

The most frustrating RUT for me was in a foreign town with a ...

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

FWIW, RUT behavior is rare, requiring a specific set of circumstances (eg: skipping a via point). To me it's not worth worrying about while on the road. Fix it before you start, then if somehow the import route gets modified, reimport with the knowledge that if you should get into RUT, a restart ...

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

Re: Version 6.60 fixes RUT?

I'd guess that the XT won't get it as they no longer sell them.

Hopefully they'll sort out the fastest roads problem this decade as well!

Re: Fun with shaping a route on the XT

I gave up long ago trying to figure out how to shape a route on my XT. It never seems to behave the same way twice.

Thinking about it now, I'll bet that during attempt one, I attempted to add multiple points at once before realizing a calculation occurs after every change. This actually makes ...

Re: Zumo XT intermiten shuting off

Hi and welcome :)

I have an XT2 that does the same as your XT, black screen from working ok, no warning message, and then it restarts. Only does it in the car and I'm convinced that it's temperature related.

Re: Battery Failing - Implications?

My XT2 had a fault that stopped the battery being charged. Once the battery was flat then even though it was on the bikes mount, or using an adequate USB power source it would not start up. Just before the battery was exhausted, it went into a continuous start up loop with a red battery symbol, but ...
