The XT changes the name to "Area" if the pin is not on a road recognised by Here maps.

I don't know if this will work but it costs nothing to try, back in the good old bad old days when crooks would steal car radios there was a trick of putting the radio in a freezer overnight that would clear the pin code. It might be worth a try.
