Re: Start and End Via points
If the route line is how you want it then it may be time to stop messing with trying to fix the route points in that route and just create a new one. Create new start and end waypoints, select them both and tell Basecamp to create a route from the selected points, make sure that start and end ...

Re: Start and End Via points
I can move the starting point to the beginning
I'm confused by this. I'm probably missing something but I'm thinking that the "start point" is the "beginning", which is the point at the top of the list. If you have some other point, further down in the list, that you want to be the start ...

Re: Start and End Via points
When I double click on a route to view the points, I can move over any point. However, Starting point can be moved only down and End can be moved only up.
You can't more start more up or end more down, obviously.
Now, if doing it on the map, I can move the starting point to the beginning, but the ...

Re: Start and End Via points
I've tried, but I can't create or move the starting point, nor the ending point. They are very first and very last in the list (when double click on route).
Maybe I did something wrong when "gluing" them together.

Start and End Via points
I had 2 r/t routes, rt1 and rt2. I cut rt1 in half, then rt2 in half. Rt1 starts and ends near my home (not the same points). I created a new list. In the new list I connected the two halfs where rt1 ends and rt2 starts, and where rt2 ends with rt1 starts. In the list, dragging rt1 onto rt2, BC ...

Re: Waypoint Announcements
tried Basecamp on numerous occasions. Compared with Tyre, its rubbish.
Tyre is not bad and easy to use, But BC is more powerful and works well with Garmin. But another reason why I use BC is it gives me a wider area with all small/local roads in it, and I also can set how detailed I want to see ...

Re: 396LMT-S No Voltage at the cradle connector
Have you got the new power cable?
Yup, got the new power cable.
Sorry FXwheels, I was away from the computer a few days, had dental surgery.
Ya I installed the new 396 power cable, and thanks to the wiring diagram for my bike model, found a switched power wire that feeds the left-front ...

Re: Compass on 396
I see no problem to look at the screen and see where I'm going to. So, if it says W, then I know that North is on right, and South is on left. If it says NW I know that South is not fully behind me to the left, and the North is just a bit to the right... And so on.
