Hello from a complete Zumo XT2 and Basecamp newbie

Post by LeeH2024 »

Hello all, thanks for letting me join. just bought a Zumo XT2 and can't fathom out how to use it with a laptop. I have no clue how to use BaseCamp either so this is going to be a steep learning curve. Hopefully i can find all the answers in plain English on the forums.
Thanks all

Greetings @LeeH2024.

I first learned Basecamp for the New England Riders site linked to by @sussamb.
Follow that up with the excellent resource on this forum by @jfheath titled "Zumo XT and Basecamp - Everything That You Need to Know". It is mostly applicable to the XT2. https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1464

Also, on this forum you will see reference to a rubber-band method of creating routes in Basecamp. That will be something to look into as you start getting familiar with creating routes.
