@Zumouser34 I suspect that your locale needs to be changed

To do this without a full restore turn on the unit and hit view map

Then hit the speedometer in the bottom left

on the next page hold where the speedo is displayed for about 10 seconds

Click on configuration and settings and scroll down to change locale

Just for interest I changed my phone to read F in case the XT was picking the temperature settings up from the phone. The XT continued to read in C.

Thanks for all your help. I thought the language selection was giving you the locale. Mine was set to Argentina.
