Yes - thank you for that Larry.

I did test it - but I was testing it as me, and the link is different if you are using it as someone else. I did log out, but I probably had another window open to it, so the cookie would still have been available.

You don't need to sign up, and I have corrected post #1. I've also updated the link in your quote of the links in your post above - in case someone clicks it without reading. Thank you for pointing that Out. I thought that it was all OK.

Today, I discovered something really important. I found another way that doesn't work.

Bump

Small update to the pages - page 56. Relating to resetting the Explore database. Either new hardware, or recent software have resulted in it being necessary to completely remove and reinstall Garmin Drive to the smartphone. Don't set up Explore, then use the Reset Explore Database on the XT screen's hidden system configuration menus.

As usual - the updated information is summarised on the 3rd post of this thread

Many thanks @smfollen. Yes, it took a bit of time.

It needs a big update with information gleaned over the last year, but I keep commenting on the forum so I have a record of it. I'm just busy on other stuff at present.

Hello. I tried to access the aforementioned guides and I could not. It seems the link(s) are not working -- at least for me they're not.

Is there any other way I can access the guides? Thanks in advance, BugJr

Maybe you could specify which links you are using?

The very first page of this thread, with the topic list, has always worked for me: viewtopic.php?t=1464

The issuu links that I quoted back on March 15 last year do not work for me, signed into issuu or not:

Ssearching issuu for any jfheath content finds "no results". (https://issuu.com/search?q=jfheath)

It was the Issuu links I was trying and did not work. Some of the links on the 1st page do work but at least 1 is blank. I was thinking (maybe hoping), that I could simply print off a pdf and place the pages in a binder.

I learn best that way ... especially when I can make marginal notes to myself.
