I am a relative newbie. I started with 4.74 then upgraded to 4.75 when I came out. I never had the pleasure of access to Google Earth from within Basecamp but immediately found value in having Google Maps open in a browser while working in Basecamp. The satellite and street views in Google Maps are invaluable.
Edit: FWIW, I have mostly good things to say about the versions I have used.
