Transferring files

Post by Baggy »

I have a Zumo 550 with map source, all works fine.
Bought a Zumo XT and uploaded basecamp, which is crap compared to map source.
I can in basecamp create a route and transfer to the 550 ok, the unit recognises this, asks if I want to import new date and all is good.
I try to export same map to XT, basecamp on the PC says its done it, then I have to unplug the XT to open it up and can see any new transfer , its not asking me if I want to import new date, nothing there.
Where the hell is it, how do I get a successful transfer?

Regards

Use "Send to" instead of "Export". This is link to a post on this forum that contains details: app.php/ZXT-P24.

Edit: Also, the export may have written it to internal storage as a .gpx file. This will not trigger a prompt to import it. You can import in by going to Apps > Trip Planner, clicking on the Hamburger (three horizontal bars upper left), then selecting Import.
