First of all, I would like to thank jfheath for this excellent series of posts on creating TourGuide POIs.
I experimented over the weekend and would like to share some of my experiences.
Please note that my device is an XT2. Therefore, I am not sure if my comments apply to other Zümo devices ...

Ive had a reply from Garmin. I didn't mention about the Cameras. They need another test before passing it on to the development team as a bug. So I'll jump through that hoop, and mention that issue at the same time.

Thanks for the icon jfheath. I downloaded it and will give it a try this weekend, testing detours too. (I am organizing tours for our club this year and want no GPS hick-ups along the road.)

I can definitely confirm that you can resume (pick up again) a track-trip at any point on condition that you are within a relatively small range within the track (the track-trip to be resumed). The latter is critical. I suppose the range is about 30 meters, the same as that for a ...

Excellent indeed!
I just joined and posted on the (old) thread "reaching back a route after leaving it" (p17499).
As I mentioned there, I navigate on the basis of track-trips because that's the most accurate (you get what you see, and vice versa).
I create my routes in MRA routeplanner and export ...
