... but do not give permission to store data or to synch. That allows data - weather, traffic, up-ahead, fuel on route with prices etc.

@jfheath ,
Honestly, I don't think I'm the only one who, as has been mentioned many times in previous posts, mainly wants to use the Tread app to ...

Re: Changed adventurous behavior on XT2

In my experience, I can set the adventure level per segment in the Tread app, but on the XT2, every change is applied to the entire route. Has that been your experience as well?

In my opinion, the Kurviger app is much easier to use, especially when it comes to adventure. Export it as a track, and ...

Re: CN 2027.10 NTU is available

It has been ticked as an active map on the device, and probably causing nav conflicts with the cn nav map when leaving both on. This must be an early 1st april?

Re: Introducing TripManager

When I encounter a blockage, I stop the navigation (route from track), look on the map for a point where I can likely rejoin, and navigate using the "where to" method specified by the XT2. Which is fine, because I have to go around it.
The route from track method is a fairly simple one, and I ...

Re: Introducing TripManager

Based on the information I gathered here, I submitted my questions to the Perplexity AI (https://www.perplexity.ai) with the following questions:

1) Kurviger, export, what does embedding extra Garmin waypoints mean?
2) Can you also achieve the extra accuracy by adding more shaping points? So what ...

Does that include a track that is converted into a route and saved by the XT2 itself?
....I installed tripmanager and tested and YES it includes those to, so for that reason the program will suit me just fine

Re: Introducing TripManager

* These routes converted from tracks can still display RUT behaviour.

The trip from route, converted in XT2, is saved in XT2, so RUT is prevented ?

page1:
- It can create trip files directly from GPX files. The benefits are that trips are saved (preventing RUT) right away, dont need to be ...

Re: Introducing TripManager

Do not allow the XT2 and Tread app to synch.

Does it matter for the track as it is exported over USB ?
With other words : when not touched in Tread is there any changes it might interfere anyway with track or trip?
Ik like Tread for camera's and traffic info esp. when navigating "regular"
