Re: Garmin Listened!!!!

I thought that I had posted this link before, but maybe not. In my back and forth with Garmin tech on the issues with the Tread app, the tech told me to be sure to express my issues on their support website. Here is the link that he sent

Re: Basecamp and via points/shaping points

I have seen what your images show but only in routes that were not created in Basecamp. Unknowns to me are: 1. Whether using Basecamp to create the routes while the XT2 is attached is having an impact on the way the route points are created. 2. Whether you can install the map to the PC from the XT2...

Re: Basecamp and via points/shaping points

In Base Camp, the bottom left pane, you can double click your route name to open a box. The bold text indicates a via (alerting) point and the grayed out ones are shaping (unannounced) points. You can change from one to the other by right clicking the point. In that box, you can also tick "cen...

Basecamp and via points/shaping points

It's been months since I've been here, so I have re-read all the advice and conversations from back then. Bike season is starting here, so I'm boning up on using my XT2. I only used successfully one time last season, so I am eager to start anew. One thing that I seem to have forgotten and cannot fin...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

@gwilki so kind of you to build this walkthrough for me!! Yesterday I followed the exact steps you recommended in this last message, and unfortunately (for some reason I don't understand) the "install to computer" option isn't visible for me (Mac laptop). Happy to add screenshots, if help...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

quite disappointed to report back to all the kind users here who have provided advice. I can't seem to find any "map options" or "install to computer" screen in the Garmin Express software I'm running (7.19.0.0) I assume my only option is to fetch the map files from some folder ...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

Thanks @gwilki . So the screen shot I posted above is the correct behaviour for the XT2 as well ? In my experience, yes. I just updated the maps on my PC, used by Basecamp, using Express and transferring from my XT2. I had read here before that I needed to ensure that Express was not started on sta...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

I have the Xt2, basecamp and express. I can use and have used Express to install the maps that are on the XT2 onto my computer. Just an FYI.

Re: Latest XT2/Tread software version

I just tested my XT with a wall adapter rated at 1.55 amps. The battery indicator shows it charging. When I put it to sleep it displays "Charging the battery. Press the Power key to turn on." before the screen blackens. This is consistent with the document saying that it will charge with ...
