XT rebooting while converting gpx to trip

Hi,
A friend sent me a gpx for next sunday ride but every time i try to convert it to a trip, it reaches 40% and after some seconds the XT reboots.

I tried over and over again and happens the same.

Anyone knows why this is happening and how to workaround that problem?

I'd upload it to Basecamp and see if that will read it, so you can see whats going on. May just be corrupt.

I had this issue with the majority of my routes but updating to 2.90 fixed it

I'm curious about this situation because I have the same problem. The update didn't help!

My Zumo XT has been replaced by Garmin 3 times for several problems. The last problem was that the unit would re-boot at random times during power on, during update operations and/or during power down. This new and hopefully last GPS seems (finally) trouble free.

My Zumo started lose waypoints when converting tracks to routes and Garmin changed for new one. But it started do this again. So i need replace this again?
