PONI killer application

Hello,

I have been a long time Zumo user. I currently use the 660 on my RSTD.

Recently I have started creating my own routes for scenic rides around Southern Ontario Canada. And I have encountered an issue I remember from my days at the old zumo forums site.

When drawing/shaping routes, it creates many PONIs Points Of No Interest. But these are announced audibly when riding.

I recall there was an application called the PONI Killer. Which you would run your. Gpx file through and it would remove the PONIs and leave turn directions.

Can I still get this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I change them to not announced using Garmin Basecamp. IIRC you need to open the route, right click the point and select not announced.

That doesn't apply to the 660. Only newer units using the Tripplaner routing will utilize that info.
