Post by icedagger »

I want feedback using this unit in car. Do this unit missing some car-specific features? Or it is the superset of car unit.

The 595 / 590 had all those, except that it was car / bike option, so those don't seem very car specific options to me.

Never own this series so I want to make sure it can use in car without any issue.

It works in car with no issues.

The only downer is the mount isn't the nice drop-in like the car and bike mounts of my 660 and 590 and the XT bike mount.

On the XT car mount you have to plug in the USB to get power.

Otherwise it is an incredible machine that works well!

I just checked mine, and it appears that there is already a Thai keyboard in the XT - but the list of available spoken languages is much smaller than the list of keyboard/printed languages. You may be out of luck for spoken languages - I don't think there is an option to add (but I could be wrong and it might come with a software update in the future?)
