Tread App issue ( maybe )

Good morning everyone,
I'm asking for help here on the forum. The sad thing is that Garmin support isn't responding. They're dodging questions with absurd answers.
I think I'm having problems with the Tread app.
I'm saying this because:
1. Through the app, if I understand correctly, you can enable the "Speak navigation to phone" option, which allows you to receive directions on the headset connected to your phone without it being paired with the Zumo. However, nothing happens.

2. I don't receive traffic information. If I enable the option on the navigation device, it asks me to pair my phone with the Tread app, but I've already done this, and it syncs the routes.

The phone is a Samsung S25 and the navigation device is a Zumo XT3.

Sorry for the English. It's Google Translate.

Thanks

I do not have the XT3, but I can share XT2 experience.

My preferred setup is to have the XT2 paired with the headset, and also paired with the phone. I believe that the XT3 may have the facility to put the phone as the hub, rather than the Zumo, but I’d still try to set it up with the Zumo as the hub - if that is still possible.b

I would not allow Tread to synch with the XT2 - The Tread App / Explore cloud ‘destroys’ routes imported as gpx files.

I still use the Tread app - it transmits traffic info, emails, texts etc to the XT2, and displays weather, road closures, up ahead places etc on the Zumo screen. But I do not allow it to save data or synch.

That works quite well for me - but I’ll leave it for an XT3 owner to say whether or not the same setup is possible.

The Zumo XT3 can still be a communications hub, although it has the option to leave that to your phone with Tread installed. In this case, you connect your helmet headset to your phone, and set the XT3 to send routing information to your phone.

I use the XT3 as a hub myself, I haven't tried the other options. I like seeing phone call information on the XT display.
