First 3 how to questions from me.

2) how to change deg F to deg C but stay in miles . UK
3) how to change map themes, they were on the xt2. Where are they?

1) i don't know, but it might still be available somewhere; at least the German websites still advertise speed cameras with phrases like “
Information on sharp curves, schools, red-light cameras, radar controls, and more”
2) i don't know
3) Presumably the same as with the Tread 2; apparently removed from the menu for users

Presumably , as with the Tread 2, the display option allowing users to make a selection has been removed from the menu.
Garmin Support has also made a statement for this question, like: "Not available on the zumo XT3"
However, there is edit: no hope, unfortunately, not for everyone
Internally, at least the Tread 2 which lost this feature also (officially),
the device works with the map themes even without the menu, just as it always has; that’s what I’ve observed.
But changing the themes is only possible if the Tread 2 device’s internal database is modified manually.
- copy your themes .KMTF to the device
- copy settings.db to your local PC, find the relevant data entry there, modify it
- copy settings.db back to device
And as if by magic, I had my desired themes back
Attention
this was tested on the Tread 2
! And such a modification is not without risk.

Bad news
It
seems, the Tread 2
workaround doesn't work on the zumo XT3.
I got a settings.db file from the zumo XT3. Unfortunately, We didn't find anything matching the “Themes” entries mentioned above

@proofresistant Have you settings.db file from XT2 or Tread 2, please?
(I sold the XT2 and returned the Tread 2 during the trial period.)

Only if we ever ride the TCT (Trans Czech Trail) together
Seriously though, I can get you both of them, just give me some time.
I need to look through my personal data first, since I haven’t done that in such detail before.
And if I do, I’ll send you a private message

Although my R1200 ST has a chassis Öhlins TTX EC for GS, front frame and other parts from the GS, I’m backward of mud and only ride on asphalt or flat, compacted gravel.

Although my R1200 ST ...
OK,
in that case, a beer together will do just fine.
You'll get a PM in a moment.
