Can synchronization mix or merge routes? Observed during Tread app - zumo XT2 (Tread 2) synchronizations

Hi,
can synchronization mix or merge routes?
I observed such behavior during testing Tread app - zumo XT2 (Tread 2) synchronizations.

Some strange behavior I’ve noticed there.
It happens not often, it’s actually quite rare, but I have seen it few several times.

In my tests, I imported routes into the Tread app.
At first, everything looked fine, except for the shaping issues I’m currently researching.

But then I also had a route in Sardinia, Italy, for example.
This route suddenly leads to the destination with shaping points from other routes in Germany.

Is what I observed just a figment of my dreams, or have others also observed such completely unexplained phenomena?

I've had some very weird routes that have the symptoms you're describing. I don't know what caused it, only that "it" seemed to have inserted a waypoint that was already in the XT2 / Tread into the route. I can't remember what I did to correct it, sorry, but, I'd probably review it in Tread and if possible, delete any unwanted waypoints.

@Oop North John ,
thank you so much for your reply :!:
Because I was already starting to think that Garmin had made me so sick that I was hallucinating and needed to went to a psychiatrist for help :oops:
I guess I can save myself the trip then ;-)

Now, about the problem :idea:
I haven't noticed any recognisable consistency yet :(
When it happened, so I deleted the route—and in some cases, the ones with the other source data as well and re-imported them.
