Has anyone designed/built an alternative to Garmin's expensive handlebar controlled for the XT2? It feels like a Bluetooth based controlled ought to be possible too.

For BMW, there's an adapter that lets you use the wonderwheel with an XT2.

It basically just translates the wonderwheel into the Garmin controller signals.
