Hy.

I need a lot of help from you. I have a Zumo 595 navigation system that I use on my motorcycle but I can't update the map. After Express downloads the map and starts copying it, it says: There was an error installing the update. What could be the problem?
When I try to download it to my computer, it doesn't work. I'm completely at a loss as to what could be the problem Could it be some kind of authentication problem? All other minor updates that are available can be installed without any problems.

Windows 10 is up to date, Garmin Express is updated. It has a 16gb Sd card formatted to Fat32 and I tried updating it without it. Should I try an older version of Express? Or is there a way to reset the map? It's missing towards Europe unfortunately

Have you tried Mapinstall?

MapInstall only installs maps to a device that are already on the computer so no help to the OP

Having the same issue - just bought a motorbike with the Zuno 595LM installed, and the map updates refuse to install via garmin express.

Interestingly, I updated one of my 590-595 last week, and it went fine. Immediately tried to do my second one, and it just kept failing with "an error installing the update". Moved to a different PC and it went fine. I felt it was an express problem - first PC had the latest version of Express, second had 7.21.0.0 - might be worth trying an older version of Express?

Just did a successful "City Nav Australia & New Zealand 2026.20"to my Zumo 595 and Basecamp.
