BaseCamp Map Once Again Cluttered With Symbols

Hi all. I have done zero updates or changes in I-don't-know-how-long. But something has changed and I can't figure out how to go back. My Base Camp map of a big city is so cluttered with the History Channel 'H' that I can't read the danged map! I have searched and searched but I can't find how to undo this unwanted History Channel crap. My first thought was in maps, top left but there's nothing useful there. Any ideas? Also- you must use the KISS method: Keep It Super Simple if possible, and include instructions of HOW to do something & not just a list of what to do. I'm really ignorant about this, obviously. Thanks!

I have never seen a symbol that looks like the History Channel logo but I know that the map detail level controls whether the enabled symbols are displayed. If it is set any higher than Medium, change it to Medium and see if that takes care of it.

What map do you have active in Basecamp?

Most icons of that sort would be selected in Edit>Options>Activity Profile>General>Map Display Features

The only icon I see with the right gold color is under Points>Shopping.

Selecting as you say works until I zoom in to see details then the History Channel logo shows up again.

I have 2 choices: City Navigator North America NT 2025.10 and Global Map. I have always used CN NA NT xxxx.xx maps in the past and that's what I have selected now. XT is not plugged in.

Who said anything about a gold color?
