Yup, but a female British or Australian voice can be so much more appealing, but at the risk of getting the side-eye from my wife every time she hears one (my phone is configured with one).danham wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 6:47 pm I'm sure you are aware that only one voice in each language is capable of saying Garmin Real Directions, such as, "Turn left at the traffic light." So in English, its Zoe or forget those handy directions.
Try a female French voice. "A la prochaine sortie, tournez à gauche". Oh yes!Peobody wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 8:05 pm Yup, but a female British or Australian voice can be so much more appealing.
As the real-world female voice guiding my navigation (my wife) can testify, I have a horrible sense of direction, so the choice for me is a no-brainer.Peobody wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 8:05 pmYup, but a female British or Australian voice can be so much more appealing, but at the risk of getting the side-eye from my wife every time she hears one (my phone is configured with one).danham wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 6:47 pm I'm sure you are aware that only one voice in each language is capable of saying Garmin Real Directions, such as, "Turn left at the traffic light."
