Listening to Audio Books on Zumo 595

Post by carolinarider09 »

Is there a way to listen to "audio books" on the 595? The audio books I have been listening to on the 665 are in an AAX format. I download them from Audible.

I would like to keep listening to them.

Thanks.

The 595 only plays .mp3 files. Try a search for "convert .aax to .mp3" to find conversion methods.

But it is possible Audible uses copy protection that prevents conversion.

I thought I'd probably have to get a "converter". Did a search and found this one. Since I have a MacBook, it would work.

Only problem is the cost. But I can download some books in advance and probably get enough for one year.

I don't use Audible, but this free program looks pretty good: https://openaudible.org/
