G'Day and Terve from Sydney, Australia

Post by Old n Slow »

Hi all,

Hi from a Finnish dude now living in Sydney, Australia.

I have used BMW Navigator VI for years and Basecamp is integral part of my navigation workflow.

I just upgraded from BMW F850GS to Husky 701 Enduro and as part of this I also upgraded the GPS to XT2 only to get Basecamp complaint that XT2 is not fully supported by the BC. Still in a process of figuring out if I can continue using BC or should i find another way to do the planning.

There is no way i will start doing my route planning using smartphone or XT2.

I am very eager to learn and share the best ways to use XT2.

Cheers,

Welcome

I don't have an XT2 - but I would have thought that there would be a way to get a Route / track / waypoints exported from BC to a GPX file into the XT2.

Take a peek / ask a question int he XT2 section.

This thread may well be relevant:

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
