Just updated from V7.17.0 to V7.17.1.0.. that was a quick one..

V7.17.1 is the first version I have installed in which the "Always keep Garmin Express running in the background" setting was not re-enabled after installation.

These entries were added to the release notes originally published for V7.17.0:

• Users can now include their device files when submitting logs for troubleshooting issues.

• Resolved an issue with Manage Maps not displaying a checkmark to indicate maps are installed.

Updated to V7.17.01. For me, "Always keep Garmin Express running in the background" was re-ticked.

I always upgrade by downloading and installing. I was already running 7.17.0 so perhaps that made the difference although I don't understand why it would this time and not all of the other times.

I updated from 7.17.0 but that option remained ticked so I had to deselect it as normal
